This notice explains how M. S. Patel English Medium School uses information in SchoolCred and its school communication services.
Information we collect
Information submitted by parents, guardians, students and staff may include names, contact details, admission enquiries, student and parent records, documents, attendance, academic information, fees and receipts. WhatsApp communications may include your phone number, message content and delivery status. Provide only information needed for your school request.
How information is used
We use information to respond to enquiries, process admissions, maintain school records, manage fees and school operations, and communicate relevant updates. SchoolCred assessments support staff review; concerns or corrections can be raised with the school.
Meta admission enquiries
When you submit a Facebook or Instagram instant admission form, the school may receive the student name, parent or guardian name, contact phone number, class sought, academic year, area or location and the consent you submit. This information is used to respond to your admission enquiry, arrange follow-up and keep an enquiry record in the school's SchoolCred CRM. The Meta platform also processes form information under its own policies. An enquiry does not confirm admission.
WhatsApp and service providers
When WhatsApp messaging is enabled, relevant phone numbers and message content are processed through Meta's WhatsApp services to deliver communications. Hosting and other enabled service providers process information needed to operate the application. Their own privacy policies also apply. This notice does not mean the WhatsApp integration is already active.
Communication choices
School messages should relate to the enquiry or school services requested. You may ask the school to stop optional WhatsApp messages by replying STOP or contacting the school office. Necessary school information may be communicated through another channel.
Access and protection
Access to school records is restricted according to assigned user roles and school membership. Keep your login credentials private. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained for school administration, resolving requests and maintaining necessary records. Records needed for accounting, school administration or applicable obligations may need to be retained. Deletion requests are reviewed individually; see the Data Deletion page for instructions.
Children and guardians
Parents or authorised guardians should submit information on behalf of children where appropriate. Student information is used for school services; concerns about a child's data should be directed to the school.
Questions and corrections
Contact the school to request access, corrections, deletion or clarification. This notice may be updated when services or practices change.
